This Privacy Policy outlines the rules for processing and protecting the personal data of Users of the Weddie.app application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). We take all necessary measures to ensure that data processing complies with applicable laws and regulations.
1. Data Controller
The Data Controller is the Service Provider, responsible for ensuring an appropriate level of protection for personal data. For any questions or requests regarding personal data, please contact us at: contact@weddie.app.
2. Scope of Collected Data
We only process personal data that is necessary to provide our services. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:
- email address (provided during registration or obtained from your Facebook or Google account)
- name and profile picture (if you sign in via Facebook or Google)
- payment processing information
- photos and videos uploaded to the wedding gallery by Users
- technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system) for diagnostics and security purposes
3. Signing In with Facebook and Google
The App allows signing in with Facebook and Google accounts. In this case, we only receive basic profile data (email address, name, profile picture) from these platforms, necessary to create and manage your account in the App. We do not gain access to your messages, friend lists, or any other private data from these platforms.
4. Purposes of Data Processing
We use personal data to provide services available in the App, including payment processing, content personalization, and contacting the User regarding organizational matters. Data may be stored for as long as necessary to provide services and fulfill legal obligations.
5. Data Sharing and Security
We do not share Users' personal data with third parties, except as required by law or necessary to provide the service (e.g., payment processors). We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect data against unauthorized access.
6. User Rights
Every User has the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, and port their data, as well as to file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority.
7. Requesting Data Deletion
Every User has the right to request the deletion of their personal data. To do so:
- Send an email to: contact@weddie.app
- Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- In the body, include the email address associated with your account in the App.
Upon receiving your request, we will confirm receipt and delete your data within 30 days. The deletion will include:
- Your user account and profile data
- data obtained from Facebook or Google during sign-in (email, name, profile picture)
- photos and videos uploaded to the wedding gallery (unless shared with other event participants)
- all associated payment and event data
The right to request data deletion is available to all Users who can access the App. Certain data may be retained longer if required by applicable law (e.g., accounting records).
If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove the connection with our App directly in your Facebook account settings (Settings → Apps and Websites). After removing the connection, your data in our App will be deleted in accordance with the procedure described above.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy. The current version is always published in the App, and continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
